ICYMI, we had a bonus Harry and Meghan post on Friday. Elsewhere, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

--Windsor Castle's 20 foot Christmas tree is dripping in gold, another 15 footer is decked in red, and this time lapse video of the set up is the stuff Christmas decorating dreams are made of. [The Sun]

--Buckingham Palace teased their bright color scheme on social media last week, and are preparing to reveal it this week. [Instagram]
Royal Family

--Meanwhile, over on the Danish royal family's Instagram account, they're sharing a selection of Queen Margrethe's personal Christmas decorations, one each day. The Queen, ever the artist, likes to make her own decorations. She made the nativity scene below in 1985 and it adorns her work room at Marselisborg Palace. [Instagram]
Kongehuset

--Not to be outdone, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary shared a video of their family decorating the tree at home in Frederik VIII's Palace at Amalienborg. [YouTube]
HRH The Crown Princess

--Prince William went all the way to Finland to deliver Prince George's handwritten letter directly to Father Christmas himself! George would like a police car, please, and assures you he's been nice this year. [Telegraph]

--Okay, okay, William was also in Finland on an official visit to "meet community leaders, mental health campaigners, young people in the tech industry and learn about the unique Finnish education system," while the country celebrates its 100th anniversary year of independence. This included a chance to chat with Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands and Prince Daniel of Sweden, which is fun.
Kensington Palace

--And finally, over at the Jewel Vault, the Queen got to hang out with some puppies and that's pretty much like Christmas for her. She also did a Take Your Grandson to Work Day, just to finish up this little coincidental William theme we've got going on.

Coming up this week: We need to catch up with Max and Mathilde, and some other stuff. Also, mark it on your calendars, the Nobel Prize Ceremonies are on December 10th! Plenty of time to prepare your tiara-gazing snacks. (We'll do the open post thing.)

Tidbits is your spot for royal topics we haven't covered separately on the blog, all week long. Please mind the comment policy, and enjoy!
