Spurs Interest

Tottenham Hotspur are part of a quartet of English clubs chasing highly-rated (aren't they all) Germany Under-19 international Aaron Opoku.

The 19-year-old (20 next March) Ghanaian was born in Germany and has rejected his first professional contract at Hamburg and could leave for a training compensation fee. Transfermarkt, however, have him listed as under contract until 2019.

His primary position is as an attacking midfielder but he can play as a central midfielder a little deeper in the Dembélé role or on the left flank.

Playing Stats

He played in the A-Junioren Bundesliga Nord/Nordost (22 games) and Regionalliga Nord (3 games) this season scoring 15 goals with 4 assists in the 25 matches, all but 1 assist coming in the A-Junioren Bundesliga Nord/Nordost.

 One for the future then. The other three interested parties from the Premier League are Arsenal, Everton, and West Ham United.
