Tiara Thursday: Six Years of Nobel Sparkle
The Nobel Prize Award Ceremony is coming up this weekend, on December 10th. It's usually the last tiara event of the calendar year, tiding us over until the Danish and Japanese families ring in the next one with their own tiara events. I always like to review a few past Nobel looks in advance, so I'm re-upping a post from last year with the sparkle of 2016 added!In 2017, the Swedish royal calendar says we can expect the King, Queen, Crown Princess, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Sofia, Princess Madeleine, and Christopher O'Neill to attend the award ceremony. Princess Madeleine will be skipping the banquet that follows because of back problems due to pregnancy (it's several hours long). The whole gang will then also attend the King's Dinner held at the Royal Palace the following day, which is another tiara event.

Crown Princess Victoria: Baden Fringe Tiara and a mega gown by Pär Engsheden. This was Victoria's first time wearing the large diamond cross necklace from the family collection, and she wore the family's large diamond lozenge brooch in her hair.
Princess Sofia: She wore a little brooch in her hair with her Ida Sjöstedt dress, but no tiara since she wasn't married yet
Princess Madeleine: A Fadi El Khoury dress with the Modern Fringe Tiara and pieces from Queen Josephine’s Amethyst Parure
