Memories are short, but mine is not and I recall a year or two ago this yuletide season a couple of millennials decided to rewrite the perfectly charming song "Baby It's Cold Outside" with modern day leftist, indoctrinated intellectually inferior slop. I won't link to it because it doesn't deserve the traffic, but it was the epitome of 20 something children thinking they knew better than their elders, claiming the song was creepy and rapey. And so a perfectly innocent song was bersmirched by two millennial know nothings because it fit the leftist, democratic socialist template they were programmed to parrot.But as per my insistence that leftists punish themselves, I'd like to ask "where are they now?"
This is an important point to make because while leftists and their attention-whoring gimmickry might get them their 15 minutes of fame, I actually insist on following up with them and finding out where they are, what their lives are like and did bowing down at the alter of leftist indoctrinated slop get them the nirvana of life they wanted.
Or...did their stupid stint merely paint them forever and that is what they are known for.
Lidia Lyzia, the female vocalist of the song, is now performing in my back yard at First Avenue. That may seem an accomplishment, but it is not because like all people with an acoustic guitar she is not making U2 money. I can't guarantee she isn't bringing down a solid 6 figs....but I can guarantee she's not bringing down a solid six figs.
And then there's Josh Lemanski.
Cripes, I can't even find the guy. I got some hits on the Google's but there is not real record online of him or his accomplishments...or painful lack thereof. I'd link to something, but there's nothing to link to.
So here's the lesson to those of you not glued to Salon, People, Glamour or whatever whore-magazines made this pathetic butchering of a classic American song popular.
Where are they now?
I know it was fun and cute for leftist ideologues (and it IS purely the LEFT'S monopolistic domain), but for those of you who actually championed and believed this simple and childish mockery of this classic song, where are they now???
Are they successful?
Are they happy?
Are they achieving anything of value and contribution to society in life?
Because as far as I can tell their lives,
THEIR ENTIRE EXISTENCE
Will be henceforth defined as
"Those two assholes that took 'Baby It's Cold Outside' and made it a rape song."
Alas, I think the true value these two people will contribute in life is one that will be "serve as an example of others NOT to become."
Are they engineers?
no.
Are they programmers about to code some amazing code that will benefit the rest of us easing some burden or chore we have?
no.
Are they doctors, scientists, or some kind of miracle worker who will save a young child or a cancer-ridden patient?
No.
Their fate is already cemented.
They will go down...
FOREVER
as the couple that mocked and ridiculed "Baby It's Cold Outside"
and will forever have that shame.
There is an outside chance they individually and independently might decide that maybe they should set down the guitar and maybe dedicate themselves towards advancing society either in science, medicine, or some other practical advancement in society.
There is the chance she might have kids, raise them properly and Josh might do the same.
But as it stands right now, their "life long accomplishment" their "pinnacle achievement" is they made...

"rapey."
Thankfully the adults realize how stupid that is. And thankfully those of us who enjoy the opposite sex love that song for it's charming epitomizing of flirtation between men and women.
You millennial children go enjoy parroting what your leftist hate-filled professors told you to...just, you know, don't get too excited when a blog like mine is the most attention you ever get a year after your 15 minutes of fame.
