American Jews spent centuries trying to escape the cruel repression they faced in Europe, but when they wear out their welcome in the New World, this is the first place they head back to, thanks to some interesting anomalies of European extradition law.
When talented Jewish film director Roman Polanski got into trouble over drugging, raping, and buggering a 13-year-old girl, he soon disappeared to Europe, where he used his French citizenship and their non-extradition rule for French citizens to avoid being sent back to the United States. Since then Polanski, a convicted paedophile rapist has continued to work with many Hollywood A-listers.

Now it looks like bloated Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, 65, has "pulled a Polanski" by likewise fleeing to Europe to escape a mountain of rape and sexual misconduct allegations that have surfaced in the wake of a story in the New York Times.
Weinstein, who has worked as a producer on such famous movies as Gangs of New York, Pulp Fiction, and Lord of the Rings, is accused of using his "Hollywood insider" power to sexually harass, abuse, and rape dozens if not hundreds of young, vulnerable Hollywood starlets...and also a potted plant.
The official story is that Weinstein has gone to Europe to seek psychiatric help. Apparently being a serial sex pest on an industrial scale is just a character flaw, a minor mental malady, or petty addiction like smoking that a bit of therapy can take care of.
It is not clear yet which country Weinstein has fled to -- and there are even rumors that he is still in Los Angeles -- but I would recommend Poland because then he could shut himself up in one of the huts in Auschwitz and scream about "another Shoah" when the authorities come to extradite him for sexually abusing one "goyim shiksa" too many.
