ISIS-STYLE TERRORIST ATTACK UNDERWAY IN VEGAS

What appears to be an ISIS-style terror attack is apparently underway in Las Vegas, with a number of reports indicating multiple coordinated attacks on soft targets, the hallmark of ISIS attacks in the West.

The attack began at a country and western music concert being held at Mandalay Bay, a venue that takes its name from a town in Myanmar. This may be a reference to the ongoing violence directed at the Muslim Rohingya minority in that country. If so, this would confirm the Islamic nature of the attack. 

The attack on the concert involved machine gun fire, and is reminiscent of the ISIS attack on the Bataclan music venue in Paris two years ago. 

Other attacks have been reported at other locations, with shots heard at Caesars Palace and the Tropicana hotel and an apparent bomb incident at the Luxor.

The hashtag #prayforvegas is now trending on Twitter, which seems to be the best place to get instant updates on what is a very confusing situation.
