Son Heung-min arrived in his homeland, accompanied by Ben Davies, Kevin Wimmer and Kyle Walker and there were hundreds of people waiting to greet them at the Incheon International Airport in Seoul.The four Spurs players are there for 2 days ahead of joining up with the rest of the squad who also received a huge welcome as they arrived in Hong Kong. The four were on a promotional trip to meet AIA staff and customers, naturally part of the shirt sponsorship deal we have with them. 24-year-old (25 in July) South Korean Son Heung-min scored 21 goals this season (14 goals, 9 assists in the Premier League), the most ever by an Asian player, and had a further 10 assists.
He scored 7 goals and had a further 3 assists in the last 10 Premier League games. In our last 12 games in all competitions (2 FA Cup ties), he scored 10 goals and had 4 assists, quite a contribution and one that is almost forgotten given Harry Kane banging in 7 goals in 2 games to claim thePremier League Golden Boot.
